The first instance in Aion would be the Fire Temple. You can enter Aion’s Fire Temple at level 28. The main reason to enter the instance at level 28 would be the experience you gain. At level 28, the fire temple is a good place to level up. This becomes even more enjoyable if there are higher level friends who can help you.
On a side note, the temple is a very nice place for Spiritmasters because there are quite a few Spirit-type monsters that are weak against Spiritmasters’ “Weaken Spirit” ability, which does bonus damage against Spirit-type monsters.
So if you want to do the fire temple instance at level 28, you would do it for the experience. If you are a person who likes to instantiate items, it is advisable to wait until level 32+ to enter the Fire Temple. Because once you hit level 32, the instance becomes a good place to look for gold/orange gear.
In the case, there are some mini bosses, which drop blue items. If you want to get all the items you can get in the Fire Temple instance, you can go around the map and kill them all. But if you want to get the most out of the instance, you have to do what is called “Speed Racing”. These runs are meant for 1 thing and that is to kill the boss at the end of the instance, because that’s the only boss that drops orange/gold items.
If you do the Fire Temple instance with an experienced group of people, you only have to kill a certain amount of monsters before you get to the boss at the end of the instance. Once you get to the boss you will notice that there are 2 types of bosses you can encounter. It is said that 1 of the bosses has a higher change to drop gold/orange items, but in my experience it never made a difference which boss my party ran into.
So if you’re between level 28-32 supports, the fire temple instance is a good place to gain experience. If you are level 32 or higher, the instance becomes a good place to find gold/orange items.
