Looks like House is at it again; surprising us with his dry sense of humor, while he carries on his conversations with his imagination, Amber. His split personality reveals his inner thoughts through Amber and the charisma they share is remarkably funny. As House calculates the famous trial and error of medicine, we get to see the slightly funny side of him as he sets up a bachelor party for Chase.
House now seeks his professional in-house mentoring, Amber for her impeccable diagnosis on a young deaf man. During the fight over the diagnosis, House gets the “cocky” thing about him and begins diagnosing the boy for lack of sleep. After a few attempts to figure out what was wrong with the young man, he decided to go ahead with plans for Chase’s bachelor party and make sure to inform Chase’s best friend, Wilson. Of course, Wilson is still bitter about the divorce from him, so he insists that he won’t attend the party. House is not surprised, but rather piques Wilson’s curiosity by telling him that he doesn’t care if he shows up at the party or not. Wilson didn’t know the party was taking place at his apartment!
Now that House has laid out his party plans, he tries to demonstrate a bartender’s fire trick in the hospital morgue. House’s comedic side is shown once again when he accidentally sets a body on fire and quickly tries to put out the flames on the dead man’s body!
Of course, House is determined to diagnose the young man while having fun. So he comes up with a brilliant idea (along with Amber’s help of course) – music vibes! So he proceeds to walk towards the hospital room, where the young man is resting, with a large 1990’s stereo on his shoulders singing the song “Fight the Power” by Public Enemy. Not to mention, he had sunglasses that were from the 90’s generation! I guess House would come prepared during the diagnosis.
Back at the party @ House asks Amber for helpful advice, who offers the name of a stripper for this party. A woman named “Karamel” (with “K”). Turns out Karamel was a stripper from a previous bachelor party House had thrown and she liked the fact that you got to do body shots of her with her. Not knowing that Chase was allergic to strawberries (or was he?), he wastes away in the bathtub of Wilson’s apartment, drinking a bottle of wine while he “talks” to Amber. Shortly after, Chase licks a drink off Karamel’s abdomen and it tastes like a strawberry and then falls to the ground. Luckily he’s okay, but they took him to the hospital just to be safe.
I can’t wait to see what the upcoming House season 5 episode 23 brings to this event comedy.
