On the first weekend of September 2020, I went to my ex-colleague’s wife’s house with the intention of interviewing her on Facebook Live.
Her name is Sandy C and she recently signed up as one of my business partners.
She got into network marketing after seeing my business success on Facebook and also wanted to create an additional source of income for herself and her family.
This is his story.
Sandy C works at a travel luggage manufacturing company in Kuala Lumpur.
Six months after the first Movement Control Order (MCO) in Malaysia in March 2020, Sandy’s boss sent a company-wide memo.
The company is in financial trouble and may not be able to pay the payroll.
Due to the national lockdown, the travel industry is at a standstill.
Since the company makes travel luggage, sales have dropped dramatically and the company can no longer support itself.
Sandy and all of her colleagues were given 2 options.
They can resign or take half a month of mandatory unpaid leave and remain employed by the company.
Fearing that she would not be able to find another job if she quit, Sandy took the second option.
She works only 2 weeks in a month and indeed her income was cut in half.
Since Sandy has a young daughter at home, she was looking for a backup plan for her and her family.
That’s why Sandy reached out to me.

Sandy joined my network marketing team a few months ago.
When she signed up, she bought some company products for herself and her daughter.
A couple of weeks ago, I ran into Sandy at her house. She mentioned that she and her daughter have had a good experience using the product.

However, Sandy refused saying that she is camera shy and wouldn’t know what to say.
