Check for system account presence
1. Double click on My Computer
2. Right-click on the drive where you want to install the program or application
3. Click Properties and select the Security tab
4. If you are using Windows 2000, see if the system account is displayed in the “Name” box.
5. If you are using Windows XP, see if it shows in “User or group names”
Add system account
1. On the Security tab, select Add
2. Go to “Select users or group” > “Name” box > System
3. Select Add and click OK
4. Click Permissions > Full Control > Advanced
