Not deciding is deciding, and when I first learned that, it was enlightening and liberating!

Imagine a parent telling their child to do something only to be met with this response: “Thanks. I’ll think about it.”

When God the Father tells me to do something, I must move fast and fast.
Jesus said to those businessmen in the fishing industry: “Come, follow me.” Immediately, they left their nets and followed Jesus Christ. That led to a more exciting and adventurous life. Delayed obedience is really disobedience.

“There is a right time and a right way to do everything.”

Time is important in all areas of life: business, sports, music, friendship. It is a skill that must be learned. This rhythm of work and rest has been called ‘walking in the Spirit’.

I need to move urgently when I know I have to ask for or offer forgiveness. Holding on to guilt, grudges, or grievances can affect health and well-being.

Facing temptation is a scenario to get out immediately. Joseph knew how to flee from temptation when he served in Potiphar’s house.

If you don’t want to get stung by bees, stay away from the hive!

Having made vows, and made promises to God, involves us in acting with fidelity and promptness.

“Do not deny good to those who deserve it, when it is in your power to act”.

Small businesses find themselves strapped for cash when the “big guys” are slow or slow to pay suppliers.

Serious financial problems could easily be solved by following Biblical principles.

We have been hearing, again this year, from several companies that are in serious financial difficulty because suppliers were not meeting their invoices in a reasonable amount of time.

Do people never see how what God has said in His holy Word, when applied in a practical way and dimension, seeks to resolve and resolve many of the debilitating circumstances that they must face on a regular basis in the ordinary line of business, and in all other fields, particularly justice, but which must wait another day to be written?

God’s offer of salvation in and through Jesus Christ is often delayed.
I’ll deal with that when I’m older, or when ‘things’ calm down, but we’ll soon discover that ‘things’ never calm down. We do it now, because we have no guarantee of tomorrow.

Not deciding is deciding!

When I first learned that truth, it was very enlightening. Delaying is a decision. Delaying payment on a bill is a very unfair decision; in fact, we must call it what it really is, it is a deliberate sin.

It dishonors and disobeys God’s holy Word, and some may even think it’s smart, and maybe even wise, not in God’s eyes!

This problem that causes so much “worry”, tension and stress in business could be solved in a very short time if people knew the principles behind God’s ways for humanity and business ethics. I wish I could reach more people to teach this in business courses at our colleges and universities!
