Tighten sagging faces with facial exercise

Seeing a sagging, less youthful face staring back at you in the mirror can cause your psyche to do a double takeā€¦ suddenly your confidence deserts you when you realize your jawline is no longer tight and taut. You see laxity that cannot be disguised. Heavy, drooping eyelids, drooping cheeks, and a developing jowls are all telltale signs that age is showing on your face.

This scenario is very common. It happens to celebrities and it happens to ordinary people like you and me.

Many people succumb to the hype of surgery, lasers, and injections. They are more than willing to use artificial means to try and give Mother Nature the proverbial boot.

Typically, when a person begins using injections to smooth, fill, or paralyze fine lines and wrinkles, they have made a decision that will forever change their face and perhaps even their long-term good health. After all, do you really know all the ingredients in that syringe?

Having a needle stick in your face every few weeks over and over again, year after year, does not equate to aging well. does it?

Preserving a youthful face has been the desire of most women and some men since the beginning of time. Creams, lotions, and other preparations have been used for centuries in the hope of slowing down the aging of aging faces.

There are some pretty amazing topical skin care products on the market today, but unfortunately they can’t prevent muscles from lengthening, pulling down and misshaping skin and facial features.

Even after years of using the best topical skincare products, skin loses its tone and elasticity, resulting in a smooth, aged-looking face. The muscles of the face attach directly to the skin, so when the muscles go limp from disuse, the skin tone is spongy and lifeless.

If you’re like most consumers, surgery and injections scare you, and rightly so; when aging is evident, desperate people sometimes take desperate means that cheat mother nature.

Show off a healthy face: signs of sagging or sagging are not possible. Just as exercise is used to achieve better muscle tone and smoothness in the body, there are specialized resistance exercises that will produce the same type of results for the face.

Lots of good things happen to faces that work out. Increased circulation immediately removes stress from the features as the forehead, cheeks and eyes receive a much-needed lift.

The most noticeable quality of an exercise facelift means that tired muscles begin to fill with oxygenated blood; the contracting action affects the skin and it also feels and looks firmer and smoother.

The entire face and neck can be lifted, toned and tightened just like the body.

Take a look at your eyes. Hold a mirror at eye level and be honest: Do you see one or two tired, hooded eyes staring back at you? Do your eyelids feel heavy?

The very delicate area around the eyes can be traumatized by the weight of the brow muscle pushing down on the eyebrows and then the eyelids. This compression causes crow’s feet as the forehead muscle first lengthens toward the upper eyes, and over time the compression will affect the lower eyes as well.

Instead of falling prey to the hype that surgery and injections are the only options available, think about exercise. Facial exercise will lift sagging eyebrows and forehead, create a wider area between the lashes and brows, and bring back the sparkle to your eyes.

Surgery and injections are not quick fixes. They are temporary at best. Recovery time and other issues such as infection, loss of sensation, disappointment, excessive bruising and scarring, nerve damage, and prolonged healing should be considered.

The exercise is natural, it’s easy, and the results far exceed a liquid or surgical facelift. Your face will look youthful and vibrant, your confidence will skyrocket.
