The MIRACLE Solution for a Flat Stomach

I hope you haven’t clicked on this article expecting to read about some pill or food that will instantly flatten your stomach. Yes, you did it, YOU SHOULD BE SHAME and that probably means you’ve been sucked into the hype.

Okay, I admitted it. I misled you with the title, didn’t I? But it’s okay, at least I have your attention.

I do not care if ANY tells you that there is no single food or pill that flattens your stomach in a healthy way. There are pills that can temporarily make you lose weight, but they alter your metabolism. That means that once you stop taking them, you risk gaining weight even faster than before.

I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but almost every pill that’s introduced is taken off the market within a few months because the FDA finds it’s unsafe. However, people STILL buy their claims.

If you want to flatten your stomach, the best way to do it is to start with a healthy diet. Cut back on bad carbohydrates like white bread, white rice, potatoes, and pasta. Replace them with whole grain varieties and increase your intake of fruits and vegetables. Load up on protein from grilled chicken, tuna, white fish, and egg whites. Also watch your sugar intake (yes, drinks too!) and refresh your body with at least 64 ounces of water per day.

Then get your heart moving by doing cardio exercises. That could be anything from aerobics, jogging, running to Tai Bo, biking, or swimming. The point is that you need to get your heart up high enough to burn the fat. Exercise at least 3-4 times a week for 30-45 minutes a day.

Losing weight in the stomach area involves TOTAL body fitness. You can’t just flatten your stomach without losing anything else. The body does not know how to detect the tone of an area. So if you’re one of those people who eats cheeseburgers every day and then goes home to do 250 sit-ups, you’ll never see results.

well actually you WILL see results, but not the kind you want. In fact, your stomach is likely getting bigger because you’re building muscle on top of existing layers of fat. Crunches can tone your abs, but only if you do cardio and watch what you eat.

I hope you’ve learned a lot from this article, and the next time you see a headline about miraculous weight loss, you’ll refrain from clicking on it. 🙂

Here’s to your health!
