Yeshua is the Suffering Servant

The concept of a savior God-man preceded pagan counterfeits, when God revealed that woman (with no mention of a man, since God is His Father) would give birth to One who would suffer and die but rise again and crush the earth. serpent and frustrate its purpose against humanity (Gen. 3:15).

The suffering servant of Isaiah 53 is the Jewish nation.

Many Jews are self-righteous enough to consider themselves worthy of atonement for humanity, but only One of the Jewish nation, Yeshua, qualifies, having died and risen, atonement for many, seeing his spiritual descendants, since He is alive. How else could someone who died – like tea The Suffering Servant did it (Israel is still alive – remember I’m Israel Chai? The Nation/People of Israel lives), do you see that the work of his soul was well worth the sacrifice?

Isaiah 53:

1 “Who has believed our report? (Most of Judah and Israel, professing Christianity, have not believed the Report and either reject Yeshua or accept a gentilized version)

And to whom has the arm of Jehovah been revealed?

2 For it will grow before him like a tender plant,

and like a root out of dry ground.

It has neither form nor beauty;

And when we see it

There is no beauty that we should wish for.

3 Hey is despised and rejected by men,

IN Man (not a nation, a man) of sorrows and experienced in brokenness.

And we (collective Israel, especially Judah) hid, as it were, our faces from Him;

Hey (a man) was despised, and we (Israel/Judah) did not esteem him.

4 surely Hey has borne our wrongs

and carried our sorrows;

However, we (Israel/Judah collective) took it for granted,

Smitten by God, and afflicted (and curse His holy Name).

5 goal Hey was wounded for our transgressions (Israel/Judah),

Hey crushed for our iniquities;

The punishment of our peace was upon him,

And by His wounds we (Israel/Judah) are healed.

6 All of us (Israel/Judah) have strayed like sheep;

We have turned away, each one, by his way;

And the LORD hath set upon Him the iniquity of us all.

7 He was oppressed and afflicted,

However, He did not open His mouth;

Hey He was led like a lamb to the slaughter,

And as the sheep before its shearers is silent,

So He didn’t open His mouth.

8 He was released from prison and from trial,

And who will declare his generation?

Because He was cut off from the land of the living (just as Daniel foresaw “had disappeared”);

For the transgressions of My people (the sins of Israel and Judah – they cannot be their own savior) Hey was hit

9 And they did His grave with the wicked (Am Yisrael Chai – Israel has never died or the Word of God would have been broken to the Fathers)–

But with the rich in His death,

Because I had not done violence,

Nor was there deceit in His mouth.

10 But it pleased the LORD to smite him;

He has made him sad.

When You make his soul a sin offering (something Judaism denies possible, but the Word of God and Yeshua prove to be true),

He will see his seed, he will prolong his days (having risen to see and enjoy his spiritual seed),

And the will of Jehovah shall prosper in His hand.

11 He will see the work of his soul, and he will be satisfied.

By His knowledge, My righteous Servant (A Savior) will justify many,

For Hey they will bear their iniquities (which Judaism denies but the Bible teaches).

12 Therefore I will give him a portion with the great ones,

And he will divide the spoil with the strong,

Because he poured out his soul to death (Israel and Judah never died),

AND Hey He was numbered with the transgressors,

AND Hey I erase the sin of many (which Judaism denies but the Bible teaches),

And made intercession for transgressors (as our risen High Priest in Heaven, at the right hand of the Ancient of Days).”

Remember that Moses raised tea snake on the pole in the desert and all who looked at it were saved? “…Jehovah has placed upon Him the iniquity of us all…”. Yeshua knew that it foreshadowed His death.

John 3:14

“And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the desert, so must the Son of Man be lifted up…”.

Yeshua took all the sins of Israel and Judah and the world upon Himself on the stake as THE Suffering Servant, crucified for all mankind – ONE whose life meant more than all, died that the nation might live, as prophesied by the High Priest in Your day :

John 11:50

“…it is to our advantage that one man die for the people, and not that the whole nation perish.”

The entire nation was not crucified, it was not on the pole, but Yeshua is the One whom we must look up to and perceive that He is the Pierced One, our Lord and Savior, our Priest and King, the One who has died in our place:

Genesis 22:13

“Then Abraham raised his eyes and looked, and behind him was a ram entangled in a thicket by its horns. Abraham went and took the ram and offered it as a burnt offering instead of his son.”

Joseph’s brothers were also blind to his identity at his first appearance before them. The second time his eyes were opened to recognize his revealed identity of him. Zechariah envisions that Judah and Jerusalem will learn to look up and recognize the ram Yeshua as the Firstborn Son of God and Savior-King of Judah and mourn their former rejection of Him and prepare for His imminent arrival to liberate Jerusalem and save klal Yisrael. , as encouraged by the Two Witnesses (in the spirit of Elijah) announcing the coming of our King (Zechariah 12:8, Matthew 23:39).

Zechariah 12:10

10 And I will pour out on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem the Spirit of grace and of prayer; then they will look at me, whom they pierced. saddened for Him as one who is saddened for the firstborn”.

Come Lord Yeshua! Blessed is he who comes in the Name of the LORD!
